What's New for the Jaguar F-PACE
For the 2024 model year, the Jaguar F-Pace is receiving some new updates. There's new standard equipment, such as a TFT digital gauge cluster and the Pivi Pro infotainment. The infotainment system has wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, onboard navigation, and Alexa integration.
Detailed changes are also made to the model's optional Black Pack. These include wheel center caps going monochrome black and silver instead of red and silver, and the badging is now monochrome black and gray instead of red and green.
Performance
The new 2024 Jaguar F-Pace comes with three powertrain options. The base model uses a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine to produce 246 horsepower. While higher trims use the P400e powertrain. This powertrain uses a turbocharged 3.0-liter Inline six engine to produce 395 hp and 406 LB-FT of torque. The P400e will be paired with a continuously variable transmission (CVT) and equipped with front-wheel drive. The top-tier trim, the SVR, retains its supercharged 5.0-liter V8 and still outputs 542 horsepower and 516 lb.-ft of torque.
According to the EPA, the Jaguar F-PACE is fuel-efficient. Their testing found that models with the turbocharged four-cylinder engine had the best gas mileage of around 22 mpg in the city and 27 miles on the highway. The available six-cylinder engine got around 19 miles per gallon in the city and 25 miles on the highway. While the least fuel-efficient model was the V-8 which only got an estimated 15/21 miles per gallon.
Design
Jaguar models are known for their minimalist interior aesthetic, and the new F-Pace is no exception. The cabin features simple detailing, conveniently placed secondary controls, and enhanced visibility thanks to more window area. The interior also has plenty of leg and headroom making it the most spacious model in its class.
Unlike other midsize SUVs, the F-Pace lacks cubby storage for front-seat passengers. That said, the F-Pace's cargo area is far greater than most models. With 40/20/40 split-folding rear seats that can fold to a near-flat position, Winter Haven residents will find the F-Pace can offer enough room for over 20 carry-on suitcases.
Safety
The F-Pace will keep you safe as you drive around Valrico or down the highway in Central Florida. Coming standard is advanced driver-aids such as forward collision warning with automated emergency braking, lane-departure warning, and driver attention warning. Safety features such as adaptive cruise control, a surround-view camera, and a lane-keeping system are optional or available on higher trims.
Technology
The new infotainment system, the Pivi Pro, makes using the vehicle's various functions quite easy thanks to simple, well-arranged menus. This system is capable of over-the-air updates, and each system runs on a now standard 11.4-inch curved-glass touchscreen. Along with the new infotainment, Kissimmee and Plant City drivers will also find the F-Pace offers a Wi-Fi hotspot and a 14-speaker Meridian stereo system.
